Owl Pellet Dissection

The Owl Pellet Kit, designed for students in grades 5-12 allows users to uncover the diet of these amazing predators in a memorable hands-on lesson. The kit includes a class set of latex gloves, hand sanitizers, tweezers, probes, and toothpicks to uncover the bones of small rodents, birds and maybe even lizards that have been regurgitated by owls. Owl pellets also available when in stock. Bone and rodent identification handouts and collection sheets are also available.  We takes owl pellet donations for use in the education project (please contact KOSSreservations@gmail.com if you have owl pellets to donate)
