+ Building a Vision: Our Capital Campaign.
In order to accomplish its plan for building permanent facilities, KOSS must raise funds for planning and construction. This capital campaign is dedicated to raising those funds.
Facilities to date have been funded through grants from Jeld-Wen Foundation, Meyer Memorial Trust, Collins Foundation, Klamath County Title III and PacifiCorp Foundation. KOSS is seeking additional grant funding for remaining construction. A local fundraising campaign is critical to show community support to potential grantors. KOSS needs your help in order to grow and fully realize its mission.
Contributions to the KOSS Capital Campaign Fund are full tax-deductible and will be dedicated solely to construction needs. Phase 1 needs are to:
• Extend electricity to well & Yurts
• Install heater & lights in yurts
• Purchase & install a pump for the well
• Construct a pump house
• Obtain a permit for a septic system
• Install a septic system
• Pay for engineering of plans for a restroom facility
• Obtain building permit for restroom facility
• Construct restroom facility
• Install water, electrical, & septic hookups to restroom
KOSS would like to accomplish phase 1 through its local capital campaign. This would help considerable in leveraging grant funds to fulfill phase 2 construction needs of building a kitchen/dining hall facility.
