International Migratory Bird Day 2013

The 14th Annual International Migratory Bird Day and "Run for the Birds" Free Family Fun Day Event will be held on Saturday May 11, 2013 at Veterans Park in Klamath Falls. There will be hands-on educational activities for children and adults alike as well as bird watching, live raptors, canoe rides, and field trips.  There will even be an opportunity to build your very own birdhouse!

The Linkville Lopers will also be sponsoring a "Run for the Birds" marathon at the same location to support International Migratory Bird Day. You can preregister for the race by calling Jeff at  541-331-4391,   or email:  jafkafvaf@yahoo.com.  
Race Day registration is from 7:45-8:45 am, with the race beginning at 9:00 a.m. The race will include a 1 mile kids run and walk, 5k trail run and walk, and a 10k trail run.
