Board of Directors
Our board consists of a dedicated volunteer group
of professional educators, natural resource managers, and other community members giving their time and
talents to the organization. The board members are very active in the schools development and
carry out much of the work with operating Klamath Outdoor Science School. Board members are also
involved in strategic planning, fundraising, and other outreach activities.

Hallie started working for the US Fish and Wildlife Service in
2003. She completed a B.S. degree in environmental education, and completed a graduate degree in recreation
management at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. When she learned of the opening at the Klamath Basin Refuge
Complex she knew it would be a perfect fit. She couldn’t wait to start learning and educating others about an
entirely different part of our beautiful country. Hallie says that she has been so incredibly fortunate to find a
job that she loves, focused on getting people outside in nature to learn about the amazing treasures that
await.
